Fredzel and his guardians have completed 5 sessions with us to get him less reactive and more comfortable around other dogs especially big dogs.  Through desensitisation, counter-conditioning and safe gradual exposure to big dogs.

Session 1 - reactive to any movement of another big dog and at any visual distance.

Session 2 -  no reaction to movement, closer distance but still uncomfortable.

Session 4 - saw two big dogs on a walk and chose to observe and ignore them.

Sessions 3 & 5 - walking in dog walking areas for safe and gradual exposure to other dogs.

1 month check in: Progressing well, barking at dogs has reduced to nothing (unless they bark first), IGNORES big dogs completely now, more relaxed on a walk and meeting smaller dogs at a close distance and more importantly his guardians no longer feel anxious when walking him.

Monthly Puppy Socialisation Class 

Started with a controlled on lead walk around the paddock so the puppies could politely meet on lead calmly before letting them off lead.
